about

In this 2003 follow up album of Karma de la Luna's highly acclaimed debut, Shaï de la Luna is steering away from the traditional ambient scene, flirting with many different styles instead. Many tracks even feature vocal performances (Nikkie van Lierop, Ziggy Gaz and Dirty Fred), a very unusual twist in the ambient genre. While some might then see this album as an weird eclectic collection of songs without direction, there's no mistaking of the cosmic red line so typical of Karma de le Luna , brought with a witty and undeniable tongue in cheek sense of humor. Let's face it : albums like these are way too subtle and incrowd to ever make it out there , yet too mainstream sounding to get embraced by the underground. For the open minded listener however, it's a rare gem that will bring a smile into your subconsciousness.
